My rubberband ball started in March 2003.  I was watching Ripley's and saw the man with the largest rubberband ball.  It was awesome.  So after the show, I went on the internet and found out that a lot of people have rubberband balls.  I'm like awesome.  So I decided to make my own.  I picked up a pack of rubberbands when my brother was getting picked up from work.  That pack was gone in an hour.  I bought 4 more packs and finished those by the end of the day.  I bought some from staples.  I bought 42 lbs. from DiscountOfficeSupplies online, which is where most of the balls contents is now from.  I even got donations from several people including Adam Riva and John Bain!
